Mizutani USA / Motik, Inc. provides a lifetime warranty on every Mizutani product purchased from us. All Mizutani products are hand made in Japan, part by part for the best durability and performance. Mizutani products are designed and made from the top quality steel to provide longevity and the ability to be sharpened over and over.
Mzutani scissors that have been damaged by a non-authorized sharpener, poorly maintained, misused or over-worn will not be covered.

We stand behind everything that we sell. All products, except electrical products (which have an 1-year limited warranty) and unless otherwise noted, are warranted for two years from the original date of purchase against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. When proven defective upon our inspection we will repair or replace, at our choice, any defective product free of charge. If found defective within 30 days: we will pick up, repair and return it to you free of charge. After 30 days: please call us (800.362.7071, x103) for a RMA number to return to us. We will repair and return it to you free of charge. Please note: Returns without a RMA number will not be accepted.
This warranty, however, does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alteration, improper maintenance or unauthorized repairs. In addition, this warranty shall be limited solely to repair, replacement, credit or refund of the original purchase price. Passion Beauty Incorporated shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for consequential or incidental damages including, but not limited to, labor costs or loss of profits arising in connection with the use of or inability to use products purchase from Passion Beauty, Inc.
Note for shear purchases: It is highly recommended to have your shears serviced regularly, but more importantly, have your shears serviced correctly. Any damage caused by incorrect service procedures will void your warranty, thus your shears should only be serviced by a reputable firm that sells, services, and understands the inner workings of high-quality Japanese shears.
